What We Do

Anglicare helps many South Australians, from the very young to the very old, with a diverse range of services.

Although our services are many, the one thing they all do is to provide hope to people who may feel there is none.

Anglicare helps people to walk with a straighter back, a spring in their step and a smile on their face.

Many organisations and charities help people overseas or in other states — Anglicare is based right here in South Australia. We help people in our own backyard.

Whether in aged care or services for families and communities, Anglicare meets people where they are at; sees potential, makes connections and creates opportunities.

Anglicare employs 1300 people, has 1000 volunteers and 400 foster carers. Many of its services are funded by State and Federal Governments, but Anglicare also raises funds through public donations, which allow us to provide extra services, and pilot programs.
