Meet Lachlan and his family
Lachlan and his family came to Anglicare’s St Hilary’s Morphett Vale emergency assistance site last year looking for hope. Lachlan’s mum and dad had hit hard times, and between food and bills they were finding it tough to provide Lachlan with his school necessities.
Lachlan dreaded facing his classmates - his uniform, his shoes, his school books were just ‘not the same’ as the other children’s and he felt like he didn’t fit in.
